The Laboratorio de Estudios Cristalográficos announces the third International School on Biological Crystallization to be held in Granada from May 22nd to 26th, 2011.
ISBC Granada 2011 will focus on the fundamentals of crystallization from solutions and its applications for the crystallization of biological materials.
The School will provide five days of lectures on the crystallization of biological macromolecules, biominerals and biomimetic materials. One day will be devoted to case studies on the crystallization of membrane proteins, viruses and large macromolecular complexes.
More than 20 demonstrations covering all practical aspects of macromolecule crystallization will be run at schedule times along a day by experts on the field.
