DIRECTIONS

 

Delegates arriving from North and South America, Europe, Asia or Oceania generally enter Spain via Madrid Barajas Airport (Madrid), Málaga Airport (Málaga) or Barcelona Airport (Barcelona), before boarding connecting flights to Granada. Delegates arriving from Europe can take advantage of the some flights that serve Granada Airport directly from some European Cities.

by car
There is no need of having a car in the centre of Granada. Once you are in the centre of Granada you can walk everywhere, use local buses or get a taxi. Parking your car in a public car park will cost at least 20 € per day. Most companies have pick-up and drop-off points both at Granada airport and in the centre of Granada. It takes about 1hour and a half to get Granada from Malaga by car.

A taxi from Malaga airport costs about 130 € and it takes about one hour and a half.

TRANSPORTATION NETWORK
 

Granada Airport
Granada airport is located about 17 Kilometres west of the city near the small town of Santa Fé. The access to the airport is directly south from the A92 Seville motorway.

There are 7 departures a day for buses to the city centre.

There are taxis available at the airport. The cost is about 18 € to the city. There are a few car hire companies at the airport.

Granada Train Station
The train station is fairly central just, but you can use the local buses or a taxi to get to the centre.
 

Granada Bus Station
The bus station is slightly out of town, at Carretera de Jaen, the continuation of Avenida de Madrid, 3 km north west of the centre, but you can use the local buses or a taxi to get to the centre. Left luggage lockers cost 3 € and there's a large snack bar and cafe.
